Job summary

Mativ is seeking an entry-level Process Engineer for the Munising Mill in Michigan to support continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives across manufacturing operations.

You will work with safety, quality, and maintenance teams, develop basic process understanding, perform data analysis, and apply A3 problem solving and lean tools. This role offers exposure to capital projects and collaboration with suppliers and customers to drive performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Sustain a safe and healthy workplace while complying with codes and laws.
• Support safety initiatives and conduct inspections and corrective actions.
• Perform production analysis and identify improvement opportunities.
