Job summary

Mayville Engineering Company, Inc. is seeking a Lean Continuous Improvement professional to identify and execute cost-saving initiatives while enhancing quality, safety, and delivery.

You will lead cross-functional efforts, develop VSM plans, and drive Kaizen roadmaps for identified opportunities. The role involves supporting President's Kaizen events, creating corrective actions from Lean assessments, and maintaining savings through cost-reduction programs.

Qualifications

• Lean and cost-reduction experience is required.
• Experience with Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen planning.
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and present results.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, plans, and implements activities designed to reduce costs while improving quality, safety, and delivery methods.
• Implements and drives continuous improvement activities through change management and best practices.
• Develops Value Stream Mapping (VSM) plans and Kaizen roadmaps for opportunities.
• Supports President's Kaizen events and develops action plans.
• Develops corrective actions from Lean assessments and tracks savings.
• Upholds cost reduction programs to meet annual savings goals.
• Trains colleagues on Lean methods and serves as SME.
• Monitors KPI data and recommends root-cause improvements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
