Job summary

The Gund Company is seeking an entry-level Process Engineer I to learn and apply engineering fundamentals in a manufacturing setting. You will support continuous improvements, assist with process optimization, and work under senior engineers to gain hands-on experience on department- and value-stream projects.

You will collect production data, analyze trends, and support problem-solving efforts using Lean tools, 5 Why, and A3 planning.

Qualifications

• Foundational understanding of engineering principles.
• Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement concepts.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply engineering fundamentals to support process improvements.
• Collect, organize, and analyze production data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Support Kaizen events, Lean projects, and problem-solving using structured methods.
• Create and update work Instructions, process docs, and operator training materials.
• Develop test/trial plans for evaluating material and parts.
