Job summary

The Gund Company in Euless, Texas is seeking a Process Engineer I to join our manufacturing team. You’ll help shape operations on the production floor by improving processes, supporting Lean initiatives, and collaborating with operators and engineering teams.

You’ll gain hands-on exposure to equipment and advanced manufacturing processes while developing technical and leadership skills through projects, training, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required or preferred.
  • 2-3 years of manufacturing engineering experience preferred.
  • CAD or SolidWorks experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Improve manufacturing processes to enhance safety, quality, efficiency, and cost performance.
  • Support Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen initiatives.
  • Analyze production data, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
  • Participate in root cause investigations and problem-solving.
  • Lead and support continuous improvement and capital projects.
  • Create CAD drawings, process documentation, work instructions, and training materials.
  • Collaborate with operators, leaders, and engineering teams.
  • Gain hands-on exposure to equipment and processes.

What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • 2-3 years of manufacturing engineering experience preferred
