Job summary

Pike Corporation in Marietta, GA is seeking an entry-level engineer-in-training to support our Engineering team and report to regional leadership. The role combines office and field work, providing hands-on experience designing safe, reliable, and cost-effective power distribution solutions.

You will learn design tools, follow workflows, and enter data accurately while building foundational technical knowledge. The position requires regular on-site attendance with no remote work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; some projects may require an Associate degree.
• 0-2 years of experience in power distribution engineering, GIS/CAD-related work is typical.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development of complete project and job packages, including drawings, material lists, estimates, and requisitions.
• Prepare project packages with drawings, material lists, estimates, and requisitions using design software and work management tools.
• Provide regular project status updates and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners.
• Engage in ongoing training and mentorship to build technical, design, and field knowledge.
• Participate in storm restoration activities as needed.
