Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corp. seeks a recently graduated System Applications Engineer to join the Performance Core Power team in Austin, TX. You will support evaluation, design-in, and qualification of high-performance DC-DC power converters for server and infrastructure processor/SOC/ASIC applications.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering with power electronics focus.
• 0–2 years of experience in power management; MSEE with no full-time experience optional.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience with multi‑phase Buck regulators and digitally controlled power management.
• Proficiency with lab equipment and circuit simulations (PSpice/Simplis) required.

Responsibilities

• Product validation and characterization in the lab, and power delivery system debugging.
• Set up and run PDN simulations in power integrity tools.
• Simulate power converter circuits for development and issue resolution.
• Generate technical documentation to assist customers deploying our products.
• Schematic capture/review and PCB layout reviews of evaluation boards.
