Job summary

Quaker Houghton seeks an electrochemical brush plating technician to perform plating on customer parts and samples in production, OEM, repair or refurbishment settings. Work may be done in-house or at a customer location, with responsibilities spanning equipment use, cost quoting, and customer interaction.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform plating work in accordance with defined specifications.

Responsibilities

• Performs plating work utilizing appropriate equipment and solutions as defined by the SIFCO Process.
• Adheres to specifications on customer purchase orders.
• Assists in preparing accurate costs for the Quoting process.
• Works with Inside Sales to help resolve customer technical questions.
• Designs and makes tooling and fixtures to facilitate efficient plating.
• Maintains equipment and keeps the work area safe and clean.
• Travels as required to meet customer delivery expectations.
