Job summary

Quaker Houghton is seeking a plating technician to perform electrochemical brush plating on customer-owned and sample parts, either in-house or at customer locations. The role supports quote cost preparation, answers technical questions with Inside Sales, and designs tooling to improve plating efficiency.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, following safety procedures, and ensuring a safe, clean work environment while traveling as needed to meet delivery expectations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent training/experience.
• Willingness to travel to meet customer delivery expectations.
• Ability to follow customer specifications and safety procedures.
• Ability to design and fabricate tooling/fixtures as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrochemical brush plating per SIFCO Process specifications.
• Assist with preparing accurate costs for quoting.
• Work with Inside Sales on technical questions.
• Maintain equipment and work area to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Travel as required to meet delivery timelines.
