Job summary

Quaker Houghton is seeking an electrochemical brush plating technician to apply coatings to customer parts, including production, OEM, repair, and refurbishment. The role involves in-house work or at customer sites with emphasis on safety, precision, and timely delivery.

Responsibilities include operating plating equipment per the SIFCO Process, assisting with quoting, maintaining equipment, and supporting customer relations while traveling to meet expectations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 3–6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts and chemicals; ability to lift up to 50–100 pounds; must stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Performs plating work utilizing appropriate equipment and solutions as defined by the SIFCO Process.
• Assists in preparing accurate costs for the Quoting process.
• Maintains equipment and work area in safe, clean condition; travels as required to meet delivery expectations.
