Responsibilities

  • Screen new and repeat donors, record vital signs and finger-stick results.
  • Greet donors and ensure their safety.
  • Maintain accurate donor records using the Donor Information System.

Job Description

We are looking for a part‑time Plasma Donor Screener and Phlebotomist to work 4–6 hour shifts, 3+ days per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and perform donor screening, vital sign measurement, finger‑stick tests, maintain donor information system records, coordinate donor compensation, and contribute to process improvements.

Responsibilities
  • Answer phones, greet donors, and ensure donor safety.
  • Screen new and repeat donors, record vital signs and finger‑stick results.
  • Use the Donor Information System to prepare charts and maintain accurate records.
  • Coordinate donor compensation.
  • Identify operational improvement opportunities and implement approved changes.
  • Work a variety of shifts including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a customer or patient‑facing role.
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire shift.
  • Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
  • Ability to lift up to 5 lbs and occasionally up to 32 lbs (rarely 50 lbs).
  • Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and auditory perception of equipment.
  • Will wear gloves for 90% of tasks due to bloodborne pathogen exposure.
