Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Middletown, Ohio is seeking a Plasma Donor Screener. You will be responsible for screening donors, performing phlebotomy, and ensuring the safety of all donors. This role requires customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage records accurately.

About the Role

Every day you will encounter donors who motivate you. The high‑quality plasma you collect becomes life‑changing medicines. Customer service and quality are expected. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and will serve as a plasma donor screener and perform phlebotomy to support plasma center operations.

How You Will Contribute
  • You will answer phones, greet donors, and focus on their safety.
  • You will screen new and repeat donors and record donor vital signs and finger‑stick results.
  • You will use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.
  • You will identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes using company‑approved procedures.
  • You will work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
What You Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
  • Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
  • Ability to lift up to 5 lbs, occasional lifting up to 32 lbs and rarely 50 lbs.
  • Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
  • Because of potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens risk level 1, 90 % of work tasks require prolonged glove wear.
  • One or more years of minimum experience in a customer or patient‑facing role is helpful.
Location & Compensation

USA — OH — Middletown

U.S. starting hourly wage: $16.00 (subject to state or local minimum wage requirements). U.S. employees may be eligible for short‑term incentives and benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan and match, disability coverage, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well‑being benefits. U.S. employees receive up to 80 hours of sick time; new hires accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
