Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Harker Heights, Texas is seeking a plasma donor screener and phlebotomist to support our plasma center operations. You will be responsible for donor screening, phlebotomy, and ensuring the safety and quality of plasma collection while reporting to the Plasma Center Manager.

Qualifications

Job Description

We are seeking a plasma donor screener and phlebotomist to support our plasma center operations. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and perform donor screening, phlebotomy, and record‑keeping to ensure safety and quality of plasma collection.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors while ensuring donor and team safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors, record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes using approved procedures.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for entire shift; ability to lift up to 32 lbs and rare occasions up to 50 lbs.
• Work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear instruments from a distance.
• Experience of at least 1 year in a customer or patient‑facing role is helpful.

Compensation
