Allina Health in Minnesota seeks an entry-level Phlebotomy/EKG Assistant to gain hands-on experience in inpatient phlebotomy and 12-lead EKGs. This role connects with diverse departments and supports patient care in a hospital setting.

You will perform blood collection, 12-lead EKGs, and assist with departmental operations while upholding safety, infection control, and accurate data entry. The position offers exposure to hospital workflows and teamwork across care teams.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience to meet required competencies
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 2 to 5 years experience in phlebotomy (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Blood sample collection via phlebotomy for lab analysis
• Acquisition of 12 Lead Cardiograms
• Departmental operations and workflow
• Safety and PPE adherence
• Technology usage (Excellian, Rover, ServiceNow)
• Other duties as assigned
