Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of six months of revenue cycle experience OR one year of cash handling experience in revenue cycle.
• At least one year of revenue cycle experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify appropriate payment details and save back-up as appropriate.
• Balance payments to deposits in systems and applications; post all payments to patient accounts.
• Research, validate and adjust payment postings; follow procedures for timely resolutions.
• Post correspondence, denials and other items from insurance to patient accounts.
• Research missing information such as EOBs and remittances; contact payers for details.
• Meet department productivity and quality goals and collaborate with other teams.
• Participate in meetings and education requirements; uphold Intermountain Health values.
