Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum six months of revenue cycle experience or one year of cash handling in revenue cycle.
• At least one year of revenue cycle experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify payment details and balance payments to deposits in systems.
• Post all payments to patient accounts using electronic and manual posting.
• Research and adjust payment postings to resolve accounts.
• Post correspondence, zero payments, denials and other items from insurance.
• Follow up on missing information like EOBs and remittances with payers.
• Meet department productivity and quality goals.
• Collaborate with other teams and participate in meetings.
• Promote Intermountain Health values and service standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
