• Typing proficiency.
• One (1) year PC/Windows experience.
• None.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and inputs patient/guarantor demographic and financial information.
• Verifies benefits with payers and obtains necessary authorizations.
• Explains insurance benefits and collects co-pays, deductibles and self-pay portions.
• Maintains registration and cashiering procedures and documents in systems.
• Ensures compliance with Patient Financial Services policies and procedures.
• Attends department meetings and supports quality assurance goals.
