Responsibilities

• Work alongside nurses and health care professionals to provide safe, respectful patient care.
• Help patients with bathing, eating, walking, toileting, and other personal care.
• Take vital signs, check blood glucose, obtain weights, and record intake and output.
• Answer call bells, respond to patient needs, and help patients stay safe and comfortable.
• Observe patients, report changes or concerns to the nurse, and document care.
• Assist with patient transport, meals, supplies, cleaning, stocking, and safety checks.
• Communicate respectfully, take ownership of assignments, and support the care team.
