Allegheny Health Network is seeking a capable inpatient care professional for the 2 North Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit at Canonsburg Hospital. The role provides direct patient care on a 12-hour shift, supporting RN staff, and coordinating admissions, discharges, and transfers within a collaborative care team.

Minimal requirements include a High School diploma and basic math, with CPR and background clearances as part of the employment requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Limited or no experience; must be able to attend 2 weeks of training.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics.
• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsabilités

• Provides, obtains or performs and documents direct patient care and activities such as activities of daily living, vital signs, specimen collection, EKG testing, I&O, mobility and routine procedures.
• Participates in admissions, discharges and transfers coordination on the inpatient unit.
• Assists with unit activity like supply stocking and equipment cleaning, checks and retrieval.
• Accurately documents vital signs, weights, I&O, treatments and reports changes to nursing staff.
• Assists with cardiac monitoring and transporting low level monitoring patients.
