Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners is seeking a Part Time Patient Access Specialist for an onsite role at Mercy - West Hospital in Green Township, OH. You will walk the rounds, operate a mobile 10-pound computer station, and perform admitting duties for patients under hospital policy, with a mission to deliver excellent patient experiences.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CRCR certification within 6 months of hire (company paid).
• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Willingness to engage with AI-enabled processes to improve patient and client experiences.

Responsibilities

• Handle patient access tasks including MRN assignment, medical necessity checks, and collecting insurance information.
• Operate the telephone switchboard for calls as needed.
• Deliver compassionate customer service while following policies and procedures.
• Meet point-of-service goals and maintain accuracy in accounts.
• Audit and report on accounts to ensure compliance and data accuracy.
