Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of progressively responsible, related work experience.
• Bilingual preferred (English and Spanish).
• Ability to speak and write effectively for the job.
• Knowledge of computer systems and medical terminology (Medicare, Medi-Cal, Workers Comp, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Assists with secure handling and recording of payments at point-of-service.
• Provides registration and admission support for patients.
• Addresses routine customer service inquiries and escalates complex registrations as needed.
• Greets patients and initiates the registration process.
• Communicates with PAS staff, clinical staff, physicians, guests and patients regarding admitting/registration services.
