Job summary

The Pastry Cook III at Laredo Country Club is an entry-level role designed for individuals beginning their pastry career. This position supports the pastry team in daily production, preparation, organization, and sanitation while developing foundational pastry skills under the guidance of senior pastry chefs.

This role emphasizes following standardized recipes, maintaining clean workstations, assisting with deliveries, and supporting service with plated desserts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Culinary or pastry education is a plus but not required.
• Previous kitchen experience preferred but not necessary.
• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of basic pastry items, breads, desserts, and baked goods.
• Follow standardized recipes and production sheets accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and storage areas.
• Support daily service preparation and plating dishes.
• Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation procedures.
