Qualifications

• At least 1 year in a professional kitchen or culinary setting.
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from senior kitchen staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic food prep such as washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
• Follow instructions from Cook 1, Cook 2, and kitchen supervisors.
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and stocked during service.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down stations before/after shifts.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety at all times.
• Learn and practice kitchen procedures and equipment use.
• Help with receiving and storing deliveries properly.
• Dispose of trash, clean kitchen surfaces, and wash dishes as needed.
• Participate in team tasks and support other stations when required.
