Responsibilities

This is a full-time in-person role for a Parts and Office manager at Moser Aviation, LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Proactively foster a positive, supportive and highly collaborative team environment and lead by example;
  • Analyze and improve organizational processes for quality, productivity and efficiency;
  • Proactively identify opportunities to minimize aircraft part procurement costs while obtaining the highest availability of parts and materials;
  • Utilize software and technology to improve parts tracking processes, quality, productivity and efficiency;
  • Procure and stock aircraft components, parts and materials in accordance with FAA regulations and other applicable written guidance;
  • Manage and evaluate inventory levels of spare aircraft parts and materials and make recommendations on the ultimate level of inventory required to meet the needs of scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance events;
  • Manage all rotable aircraft parts;
  • Assist with establishing and maintaining a tool calibration program for hangar tools and equipment;
  • Coordinate with Maintenance Coordinators, Scheduled Maintenance Planner, Aircraft Maintenance Manager, Director of Maintenance and external vendors on the status of materials orders including pricing, availability, delivery and tracking information;
  • Contribute to building and maintaining a highly-effective aircraft maintenance team, including team member onboarding, training and mentoring on professional skills and technical knowledge;
  • Effectively communicate, collaborate and develop effective and strong working relationships with team members, personnel throughout the company, and with external partners, contractors and vendors;
  • Follow published processes and procedures to ensure compliance with aircraft maintenance manuals, Federal Aviation Regulations and other international, federal and state aircraft and workplace regulations & guidance;

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

-Prior experience in parts management, inventory control, or supply chain logistics

-Knowledge of FAA regulations, AS9100, and/or other aerospace quality standards preferred but not required.

Technical Skills & Knowledge:

-Strong understanding of parts, materials, and supply chain processes

-Proficiency in inventory management software

-Knowledge of logistics, procurement, and vendor management

-Ability to interpret technical drawings, part specifications, and maintenance manuals

-Beechjet 400a/Nextant 400XTi experience preferred but not required.

-Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

-Strong negotiation and supplier management abilities

-Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment

-Effective communication and collaboration with internal departments and external suppliers

-Strong analytical and decision-making skills for inventory optimization

-Foster long term relationships with suppliers/vendors

Certifications (Preferred but Not Required):

-APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)

-Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
