Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager I to support owner-side quality. You will supervise contractor and supplier activities, review quality records, and track nonconformances to closure while reporting to the project quality lead.

This role suits someone who wants to see quality from the requirements side, with exposure to ISO 9001 principles and a path to higher Project Quality Manager levels as you gain program experience. Travel to active sites is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles.
• Certification such as ICC, NICET, CWI, or CIP is a strong plus.
• Comfortable reading specifications, procedures, and inspection records and finding the gaps.
• Clear written reporting.
• Organized under document-heavy work.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specifications.
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance.
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database.
• Witness hold and witness points and document the results.
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager.
