Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager I on the owner side of capital projects. You will perform surveillance of contractor and supplier quality activities and review quality documentation to ensure compliance with the project quality plan.

You will work between field and records, witness hold points, track findings, and report quality status to the project quality lead. This role offers exposure to ISO 9001 practices and growing responsibilities toward Project

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles.
• A certification such as ICC, NICET, CWI, or CIP is a strong plus.
• Comfortable reading specifications, procedures, and inspection records and identifying gaps.
• Clear written reporting and organization under document-heavy work.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specifications
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database
• Witness hold points and document results
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager
