Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager I to support owner-side quality on capital projects. You will surveil contractor and supplier activities, review QC plans and records, and track audit findings to closure, reporting to the project quality lead.

This entry-level path leads to higher Project Quality Manager roles and sponsored ISO 9001 training. You will alternate between fieldwork and document review, focusing on closing gaps before client audits, while

Qualifications

3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects.
Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles.
a certification such as ICC, NICET, CWI, or CIP is a strong plus.
Comfortable reading specifications, procedures, and inspection records and finding the gaps.
Clear written reporting.
Organized under document-heavy work.

Responsibilities

Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specifications.
Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance.
Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database.
Witness hold and witness points and document the results.
Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager.
