Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager I on the owner's or EPC contractor side of capital projects to support the project quality program rather than manage a contractor's QC crew. You will perform surveillance of contractor and supplier quality activities and review quality documentation.

You will track audit findings to closure, report quality status to the project quality lead, and engage in field and documentation tasks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles.
• A certification such as ICC, NICET, CWI, or CIP is a strong plus.
• Comfortable reading specifications, procedures, and inspection records and finding the gaps.
• Clear written reporting and organization under document-heavy work.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specifications.
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance.
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database.
• Witness hold and witness points and document the results.
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager.
