Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Project Quality Manager I for owner-side oversight on capital projects. You will support the project quality program, review QC plans and records, track findings to closure, and report quality status to the project quality lead.

This role sits on the owner/manager side rather than the contractor side. Your week blends field activity with documentation, including witnessing hold points, reviewing inspection records, and addressing audit findings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles.
• A certification such as ICC, NICET, CWI, or CIP is a strong plus.
• Comfortable reading specifications, procedures, and inspection records and finding the gaps.
• Clear written reporting.
• Organized under document-heavy work.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specifications
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database
• Witness hold and witness points and document the results
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager
