Base pay range

$65,000.00/yr - $89,000.00/yr

Position Overview

As a territory-based sales representative, you will engage directly with potential clients. You will receive tailored training to help you succeed in reaching out to small and medium-sized businesses across various sectors. Your main goal will be to introduce supplemental insurance solutions to business owners and their employees. You will engage in one-on-one discussions and group presentations, ranging from small meetings to large audiences of 50-100+ people, providing a dynamic and growth-oriented environment.

Core Responsibilities
  • Utilize our customized Salesforce CRM to generate leads and expand your professional network within your territory and neighboring communities.
  • Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, or text.
  • Schedule meetings with clients to understand their insurance needs.
  • Attend scheduled calls and meetings with your sales manager and team.
  • Visit new businesses, develop relationships with local owners, follow up on referrals, and re-service existing clients.
  • Build and nurture your own client portfolio.
  • Work with your sales manager to set and achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Plan your weekly schedule and submit it to your manager.
  • Record daily work activities and sales updates daily.
Additional Qualifications
  • Pass a high-level pre-employment background check.
  • Have an active Driver's License and reliable transportation.
  • Hold or be willing to obtain an active Health & Life Insurance Producer license (training provided at no cost).
  • Possess a Bachelor's degree or at least 4 years of post-high school work experience. Candidates nearing degree completion or with relevant sales or athletic background will be considered.
