We are seeking a driven and knowledgeable Remote Sales Consultant to join our team in Texas. As a key member of our sales force, you will leverage your technical understanding of ERISA matters to drive revenue through sales of our TPA services. This role offers the opportunity to engage with active leads and focus on expanding our client base within the Texas territory. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of retirement plan structures, compliance, and regulations, enabling effective consultation with Advisors, Attorneys, CPAs, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with existing leads and actively prospect for new opportunities within the territory.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with Advisors, Attorneys, CPAs, and intermediaries to drive sales growth.
  3. Conduct consultations to understand clients' retirement plan needs and demonstrate our TPA services' value.
  4. Utilize your ERISA expertise to provide guidance, ensuring client plans are compliant and optimized.
  5. Explain complex retirement plan concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  6. Work with internal teams to tailor solutions for clients with assets up to $100M.
  7. Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and quotes to potential clients.
  8. Use CRM tools to track leads, opportunities, and sales activities.
  9. Provide regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market trends.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (preferred).
  • At least 2+ years of sales experience in the retirement services industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of ERISA regulations and retirement plan structures.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and effective in a remote setting.
  • Willing to travel up to 25% within the territory.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and sales tools.
  • Existing network in the financial services or retirement planning space is a plus.

SPECIALTIES: All ERISA-related roles including Defined Contributions, Defined Benefits/Pension, Non-Qualified, Actuarial, Sales, Service, Communications, Compliance, Implementation, Investments, ESOP, 401(k) Recordkeeping, Financial Advisors, Wealth Management, Wholesaling, Executive roles, etc. We place candidates at all levels, from Plan Administrators and Compliance Specialists to VP and C-Level executives, as well as Investment professionals, Analysts, and Financial Advisors.
