Qualifications

• Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Associate’s degree and 1 year OR/surgical area experience.
• Work in a fast-paced clinical setting with strict safety and cleanliness requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist Environmental Services with room turnover and prepare OR for next case.
• Transport patients, equipment, and supplies to and from OR; liaise with CPD for sterile items.
• Move blood products and specimens to their respective locations.
• Assist in patient transfer from OR table to bed under care team guidance.
• Position patients and secure equipment for proper attachments; maintain sterility and cleanliness.
• Adhere to JCAHO, CMS, DPH, and HIPAA regulations; support safety initiatives and process improvements.
