Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking an entry-level Environmental Services Assistant to support the Operating Room (OR) team in Phoenix, AZ. The role focuses on cleaning ORs, preparing rooms, and maintaining supplies to ensure efficient OR turnover under RN supervision.

The position is day-shift with responsibilities that include patient positioning assistance, specimen transport, and assisting with basic equipment setup as directed by leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Preferred: College student in healthcare-related field or related training.
• Preferred: additional coursework or certifications in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Functions as part of the Operating Room (OR) team to support OR efficiency and cleaning.
• Perform terminal cleans of all ORs and maintain supplies.
• Assist with patient positioning under RN supervision and transport as directed by RN.
• Transport specimens and blood products and assist in basic equipment prep as directed.
