Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center of Florida, Inc. is seeking an Operating Room Environmental and Support Aide to support our Surgical Services team in a fast-paced hospital setting.

You will help prepare and clean operating rooms, transport patients and equipment, and maintain supplies to ensure patient safety and efficient procedures. This full-time role requires CPR certification, a high school diploma, and at least one year of healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year experience within healthcare environment, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans surgical area by removing waste and linen, washing equipment and surfaces.
• Transports patients, equipment, and specimens to appropriate units.
• Maintains inventory of supplies and ensures sterile environment.
• Prepares germicidal solutions and follows safety protocols.
• Ensures patient privacy and comfort throughout procedures.
