Job summary

Veolia in North America is seeking an O&M Technician I to perform entry-level operation and maintenance at water production facilities. You will work under a certified operator, handling basic tasks, monitoring processes, and collecting samples.

The role includes manual labor, equipment inspection, and data recording while adapting to outdoor/indoor environments and varying shifts. A HS diploma is required; safety and regulatory training provided.

Qualifications

• Requires basic reading, math, writing abilities for data and logs.
• Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot routine equipment.
• Ability to read meters, gauges, and control panels and record data.

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment manually and via control panels following procedures.
• Performs CLAIR on machines and reports issues to supervisor.
• Collects water and wastewater samples and conducts field tests.
• Performs routine lab tests and documents results per procedure.
• Inspects and troubleshoots equipment, assists in repairs as needed.
• Works in outdoor/indoor environments in varying weather and shifts.
