Job summary

Veolia is seeking an O&M Technician I to perform a range of operation and maintenance duties at a water production facility. This entry-level role supports certified operators and conducts basic lab tests, sampling, and equipment calibration.

Responsibilities include monitoring equipment, recording data, performing routine maintenance (CLAIR), troubleshooting, and performing manual labor in various environments as required by shift needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Good reading, math, writing and communication skills.
• Minimum water/wastewater license as required by site.
• Valid driver's license with safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment manually and via instrumentation following procedure.
• Performs CLAIR (cleaning, lubrication, adjustment, inspection) on machines and related equipment.
• Collects water, wastewater, and other samples; performs field tests to pace chemical dosages.
• Performs routine lab tests and prepares reports.
