Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking an entry-level O&M Tech I to learn water distribution and wastewater collection systems. Under supervision, you will perform turn-ons/offs, inspect meters, valves, pipes, and assist in repairs.

This role emphasizes safety, after-hours emergencies, and on-the-job training with opportunities to advance within Veolia's water and wastewater operations across North America.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of basic mathematics and safety practices.
• Ability to operate basic hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform customer service duties such as turn-ons and shut-offs and check for leaks.
• Inspect and repair meters, valves, pipes, and related appurtenances.
• Respond to customer complaints and emergency calls for service; mitigate spills and leaks as needed.
• Operate and maintain vehicles and a variety of equipment used in water distribution and wastewater collection.
• Attend training and safety meetings as necessary.
