Job summary

TEAM Industrial Services seeks an entry‑level NDT Assistant to support certified technicians in nondestructive testing at client sites. This role starts a rewarding career in asset integrity and inspection, emphasizing safety, support, and operational excellence.

The successful candidate will perform inspections (UT, MT, PT, RT, etc.), assist with materials and equipment, and maintain a safe, compliant work area while traveling to multiple sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background check.
• Must obtain TWIC, DISA, or other site access credentials.
• Willingness to travel and work in Oil, Gas, Nuclear, Power, and related environments.
• Willingness to work extended shifts, weekends, and alternate schedules.
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist certified NDT technicians in setting up and performing inspections (UT, MT, PT, RT, etc.)
• Prepare and organize materials, tools, and equipment for testing assignments
• Support radiation safety practices and help secure radiographic testing areas
• Transport equipment to and from job sites with safe handling and inventory control
• Ensure tools and work areas are cleaned and maintained
• Complete field reports, timesheets, and other documentation as directed
• Follow safety rules, client site protocols, and TEAM’s Life Critical Expectations
• Perform general labor duties related to rigging, lifting, and access equipment setup
