Job summary

WinnCompanies is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to join Ashtabula Towers, a 202-unit multifamily community in Ashtabula, OH.

You will perform maintenance in units, common areas, and grounds, with a schedule Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM and on-call every three weeks on rotation.

Ideal candidates have limited experience, knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, and HVAC, strong customer service, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year of relevant work experience.
• General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, and HVAC.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic familiarity with computers and tablets.
• Availability for on-call activity during off hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs in appliances, carpentry, hardware, masonry, painting, basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Complete assigned service requests and repairs per procedures.
• Assist in preparing vacant apartments for market ready status.
• Maintain grounds and curb appeal through snow removal, landscaping, and trash management.
• Be available for on-call activity during off-hours and emergencies on a rotating schedule.
