Job summary

West Fraser is hiring a Millwright to join our maintenance team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will repair and maintain industrial equipment, read engineering drawings, and ensure proper alignment and safety across all machinery.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Must pass Millwright Assessment test and hands-on assessment at mill.
Willing to travel a few times a year for training courses.
Ability to work weekends, holidays and mandatory overtime.
Follow all West Fraser safety policies and procedures.
Must communicate clearly and respectfully with team members.
Walk, stand, bend, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Background check, drug screen, and physical required.

Responsibilities

Repair and maintain industrial equipment including conveying systems and machine centers.
Read drawings and printed instructions.
Move machinery using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks.
Align machines using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers.
Assemble and install equipment using hand and power tools.
Set specified clearances between moving and stationary parts.
Be on time and uphold attendance as a core value.
