Job summary

West Fraser in Leola, AR is seeking a skilled Millwright to repair and maintain industrial equipment and conveyors. You will read drawings, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years verifiable Millwright experience preferred.
• Welding experience preferred.
• Torch cutting experience preferred.
• Must be able to work rotating shifts.
• Must successfully complete pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain industrial equipment conveying systems and major machine centers.
• Read and understand drawings and printed instructions.
• Work safely under high-pressure situations.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Demonstrate good communication and documentation skills.
• Maintain safe work habits and use hand/power tools.
• Operate shop and maintenance equipment.
• Ensure proper alignments of process equipment.
• Understand rigging and material handling.

What You Will Do

• Repair and maintain industrial equipment conveying systems, and major machine centers.
• Able to read and understand drawings and printed instructions.
• Must be a self-starter who can work safely under high-pressure situations.
• Understanding of preventive maintenance
• Hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical troubleshooting
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Safe work habits
• Use of hand and power tools
• Operation of shop and maintenance related equipment
• Understanding proper alignments of process equipment
• Knowledge of rigging and material handling

What You Will Need

• Must have High School Diploma or GED
• Must have minimum 3 years verifiable work experience as a Millwright preferred.

• Must successfully complete a skills assessment, pre-employment drug screen, physical, reference check, and background check.
