West Fraser seeks a maintenance leader to supervise a crew of Millwrights, Electricians, Welders and Contractors in a sawmill environment. You will manage process flow, resources, and training to meet budgets and performance goals.

The role requires strong leadership, industrial experience, and a commitment to safety. Weekend coverage may be required, with competitive benefits and a path for internal promotion.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician or Millwright certification/experience.
• Minimum of five years of industrial experience.
• Experience supervising and mentoring maintenance staff.

Responsibilities

• Achieve maintenance goals with a strong emphasis on safety.
• Support troubleshooting and observations of machine centers with shift supervisors and maintenance staff.
• Manage department costs to optimize manufacturing unit cost; develop key metrics.
