Job summary

MERIEUX NUTRISCIENCES is hiring a Lab Assistant - Microbiology in Visalia, CA. The role offers full training with no prior lab experience required and a 6am-2:30pm schedule. Overtime opportunities exist, and the position includes weekend work as part of a 5-day work week.

Qualifications

• Analytical skills are essential to complete analysis procedures and determine the concentration of the microorganism.
• Interpersonal skills are required to effectively work within teams.
• A general knowledge of the Laboratory Information Management System is required to process client data.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean laboratory by discarding waste and cleaning surfaces.
• Prepare and use cleaning solutions according to specifications.
• Perform quality control checks and assist other laboratory personnel.
• Maintain equipment and inventory, and support audits and safety procedures.
