Rothe Development Inc. seeks a Junior Metrology Technician at our Webster, Texas headquarters to support calibration lab operations. This entry-level role provides on-the-job training in pressure and torque calibration and a path to the Metrology Technician I position.

The position is on-site in Webster, TX with sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma and at least two years of technical experience; no certifications required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' training or experience in a technical field.
• On the job training in Pressure and Torque calibration to move toward Metrology Technician I.
• No certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs, calibrations, and general housekeeping in the lab.
• Understands the objective of calibration and how to assess results.
• Keeps Lab Manager informed of equipment status changes that affect delivery.
• Reports problems or needed improvements to the Lab Manager.
• Aware of how activities contribute to the management system objectives.
