Job summary

SPX Technologies is seeking an entry-level assembler to join the HVAC Cooling division. You will assemble metal components, position parts per diagrams, and secure assemblies using fasteners and power tools on the shop floor.

The role supports production of cooling equipment for large facilities, with opportunities for hands-on training and advancement within a global engineering-focused company.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, memos and notes.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and basic reports.
• Demonstrates basic arithmetic in work tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assembles metal products at bench or shop floor.
• Positions parts using diagrams and documents.
• Fastens parts with bolts or screws and uses hand tools.
• Operates drills and wrenches to finish units.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
