Job summary

SPX Technologies in Springfield, MO is seeking an entry-level Assembler to support manufacturing operations. You will assemble metal products at bench or shop floor, securing parts, drilling, and using hand tools to produce units that pass final inspection.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with 1–3 months of related experience, and the ability to read simple instructions and perform basic math. A sign-on bonus is offered and benefits follow company policy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; one to three months related experience and/or training preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence.
• Mathematical ability including basic operations with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Responsibilities

• Positions parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or controlled documents.
• Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, or other fasteners.
• Operates drills, hand/air impact wrenches, and hand tools.
• Produces a completed unit capable of passing final inspection.
• Other duties as assigned.
