Job summary

Rehab Medical LLC is seeking a Patient Care Representative to support the Sales Team in coordinating and processing documentation to obtain durable medical equipment for patients. The role emphasizes patient liaison, insurance coordination, and timely communication with physicians and referrers.

Ideal candidates will have strong interpersonal skills, confidentiality, and 2+ years of administrative support experience.

• Minimum 2+ years of administrative support experience

Responsibilities

• Support to Sales Reps, up to two at a time
• Acts as a liaison between the company, the patient, referral sources, and insurance companies
• Patient communication—introducing patient to the company and the process for obtaining equipment
• Collecting insurance information from the patient
• Coordinate with patient to schedule a face-to-face evaluation with physician if required
• Prepare and send all documentation required to the physician
• Receive proper documentation and submit for approval
• Keep Sales Reps updated on the status of each patient's order and information
• Explain equipment, insurance coverage, and possible payment options to the patient prior to delivery
