CATALYST PHYSICIAN GROUP - NTX PLLC is seeking an entry-level Medical Assistant I to support patient care under supervision. You will room patients, take vitals, document in the EMR, and assist with routine duties alongside the care team.

This role emphasizes teamwork, infection control, and accuracy in charting, with opportunities to develop foundational clinical and administrative skills in a busy clinic setting.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required or completed Medical Assistant program.
• Completion of accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent) preferred or obtained within 6 months.

Mansioni

• Room patients, record vitals, and document in EMR.
• Prepare exam rooms with equipment and supplies.
• Assist providers with basic examinations and procedures.
• Maintain exam room cleanliness and infection control.
• Support appointment scheduling, check-in, and chart management.
• Perform basic clerical tasks such as filing and scanning.

The Medical Assistant I is an an entry-level role focused on developing foundational clinical and administrative skills. This role supports patient care under supervision by performing basic tasks such as rooming patients, recording vital signs, and assisting with routine clinical duties. The Medical Assistant I will work collaboratively with the care team to ensure efficient and compassionate care delivery.ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Rooming patients, adheres to rooming guidelines, vitals, accurately documents in the EMR, basic tests/procedures, medications and vaccinesDocument patient information in the EMR accuratelyPrepare exam rooms with the required equipment and suppliesAssist providers with basic examinations and proceduresMaintain exam room cleanliness and report low stock levelsFollow infection control, safety, and confidentiality protocolsAnswer and route phone calls appropriatelySupport appointment scheduling, patient check-in, and chart managementPerform basic clerical tasks such as filing and scanningMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:High school diploma or equivalentCompletion of accredited Medical Assistant programCertification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent) is preferred or obtained within 6 months of hireCurrent AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification for healthcare providers with hands on component preferred or within 60 days of hire
