Catalyst Physician Group - NTX PLLC is seeking a Medical Assistant II in Texas to provide mid-level clinical support, rooming patients, taking vitals, and assisting with vaccines and tests. You will document in the EMR, support complex workflows, and help maintain excellent patient experience.

The role includes precepting, cross-training across departments, and contributing to care coordination and value-based initiatives, with adherence to safety and HIPAA policies.

Formación

• Must complete an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Certifications CMA/RMA/CCMA or equivalent preferred.
• BLS certification preferred or within 60 days of hire.
• At least 1 year healthcare experience required.
• Proficient in EMR documentation and patient care workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Room patients, take vitals, document in EMR per guidelines.
• Perform routine tests/procedures and assist with vaccines.
• Support infection control, HIPAA and safety policies.
• Assist providers and mentor staff; cover MA visits as needed.
• Support care coordination, referrals and prior authorizations.
