Hilltown Community Health Centers, Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide direct patient care under supervision while performing a variety of clinical and administrative tasks to keep the practice running smoothly.

The role includes taking vital signs, assisting with exams and procedures, performing POCT, entering data into Epic, handling calls, maintaining HIPAA compliance, and supporting preventive care and patient education.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; MA training program preferred.
• CMA/RMA certification preferred; CPR required.
• Experience with EHR systems, especially Epic, preferred.

Responsabilités

• Take and record vital signs and prepare patients for examinations.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures; prepare instruments and patients.
• Perform POCT and routine tests (e.g., EKGs, ear lavage) as directed.
• Enter and update patient information in Epic and other EHRs.
• Handle patient calls, messages, and follow-ups; maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Support preventive care and chronic disease management through patient outreach.
