Job summary

You will greet patients, take vital signs, and document findings. The role involves routine procedures under supervision, immunizations, and coordinating follow-ups in a collaborative clinic setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Ability to work well with individuals of diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist the provider by facilitating patient and information flow through the visit.
• Review daily schedule and prepare EHR; promote efficiency and accuracy.
• Greet and escort patient to exam room in a professional manner.
• Obtain visit purpose, vital signs, and document in EHR.
• Inform provider of abnormal readings or significant deviations.
• Perform routine procedures per provider’s order (e.g., EKG, vision screening).
• Administer immunizations and injections under supervision with appropriate license.
• Prepare rooms after each patient visit and assist with referrals.
• Schedule follow-up visits and follow necessary referrals.
• Maintain patient care equipment and report repairs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
